About Michelle

Michelle B. Hicks was a special education teacher in Wichita Falls, Texas, for nearly 20 years. She loved her students fiercely, and her kindness, patience, and unwavering belief in every child, regardless of their disability, left a legacy that continues to inspire.

She believed her students could do anything they wanted to do.
